Breathe new life into your Victory with the Dynojet

Power Vision CX.

Your Victory motorcycle is now a flash away from unlocking the hidden power and torque that lurks within, all without adding extra devices or modules! The Power Vision CX interfaces with the ECU through the diagnostic connector and allows you to read the original tune (which can be restored), flash new tunes, view live data, and datalog. Dynojet tunes are available and have modified fueling, timing, rev limit, idle, and other changes to take advantage of the 106’s potential. Shops, tuners, and advanced users are enabled to further optimize Victory 106’s with the included Power Core software. This powerful software suite provides all the tools to perform custom tuning, view and analyze datalogs, and automate corrections using Tune Lab.

To us, Victory is and will always be a great motorcycle. A legend we have ridden and tested,  although Victory is closing their doors Dynojet will continue to support Victory riders with the best possible air/fuel performance tools. Legends never die, Victory isn’t dead.

How does the Power Vision CX benefit my Victory?

The Power Vision CX isn’t just a flash tuner, it is a complete toolkit for your ECM.

Stock Victory Motorcycles will realize increased power and torque throughout the entire operating range. Our tuning specialists focused on low, and mid-range grunt and the results are impressive. The combination of fuel and ignition advance changes are optimized for a stock, or stock with high-flow air cleaner. Your riding experience will be transformed with the Power Vision CX.

Modified Victory Motorcycles require more extensive tuning. The Power Vision CX affords the ability to use our pre-developed tunes for your specific combination, or you can visit a dyno tuner that can custom tune your Victory for optimal results. Until now, the only options for tuning your Victory were in-line devices that could only adjust fuel, and in some cases fuel and timing. Power Vision CX unlocks the potential of your Victory by adjusting the calibration inside the ECM, resulting in a higher level of control required for bikes with serious modifications.

2016 Victory 106″ Horsepower Graph STK and Power Vision CX Tune Comparison.

As you can see the significant improvements are in the lower to mid range but still peak above your stock horsepower on a Stock 106″.

In this tutorial you will learn how to update the Power Vision CX using Dynojet’s Power Core Software.

Step 1: Go to www.dynojet.com/powervision. Put your mouse pointer over “Support,” to bring up the support menu. Move down and click the “Downloads” option.

Step 2: Click the “Select a Product” drop down menu; choose “Power Vision CX”.

Step 3: Download and install the Dynojet Power Core Software.

Step 4: Download and save the firmware file to an accessible location on your computer (i.e. your desktop, a downloads folder, or a dedicated folder). The file will come in a “zipped” folder. The actual firmware file inside (with a .dfu filename extension) will need to be extracted before you can use it. Open the file with Windows Explorer. Click “Extract all files”. Follow the on screen prompts.

Step 5: With your Power Vision CX plugged in to your computer or vehicle, check your firmware number on the device by going to DEVICE TOOLS>DEVICE INFO>ABOUT and you will see the device firmware build number. If this number matches the firmware version number on the downloads page, your firmware is up to date. If it does not match continue installing the latest firmware version.

Step 6: Launch the Power Core Software. In the Application Launcher, click TOOLS>MANAGE HARDWARE. The window Device Manager will open and you will want to make sure on the left side of the window that Power Vision CX is selected.

Step 7: On the right side click INSTALL FIRMWARE, locate the extracted firmware file previously saved to the computer (the .dfu file) and open it. The update process will begin.

NOTE: If it is the first time updating the firmware, USB boot loaders will automatically install and may cause the updating process to timeout and stop. If you get any error messages, reboot your computer and try again. Make sure you see the “Update Completed” message at the end.

Step 8: Make sure the message UPDATE COMPLETED is shown. If you see this message, your Power Vision CX firmware is now up to date and you are ready to flash.

SEMA 2016 Power Vision CX & Gyro Vision Off-Road Lights Debut

Written by:

SEMA 2016 was of course full of some of the most unique builds in the world from performance to off-road. This year we released the new Power Vision CX, a flash tuning device for Polaris SXS’s and Indian and Victory Motorcycles. The Power Vision CX comes preloaded with tunes developed by Dynojet that improve the stock tune as well as tunes for aftermarket exhausts, intakes, and turbo. Tuners can open the DJT files in C3 software to make custom tunes as well.

Also released at SEMA, our new for 2017 Gyro Vision LED Lights revolutionize off-road lighting! Gyro Vision gives 30 degree movement in all directions, they move with the vehicle’s steering, and a built in gyro keeps the lights level, pointing the high intensity LED’s in the direction your vehicle is driving. A joystick lets you override automatic steering mode, using Gyro Vision as a spotlight, and you can lock the lights in position with a simple push of the joystick. This lets you use them as a work light when dismounting your vehicle such as clearing a obstacle or helping a buddy get unstuck on the trail. They are a universal light and can be installed on any vehicle using common light mounts. Up to five lights can be used together.
